安危文集 An Wei Wenji
The book, also titled The Beginning of Indusco: The Hitherto Untold Role of Helen Foster Snow in English, is a collection of 80 essays by An Wei focusing on Helen Foster Snow’s years in China and her pivotal role in the Indusco movement.
The volume is divided into four sections. The first contains An Wei’s own writings on Helen Foster Snow. The second features translations of speeches and articles by American officials delivered on various occasions. The third section explores issues of cross-cultural exchange and translation, including An Wei’s personal reflections and memories. The final section presents his English-language writings, some of which were composed at the request of foreign colleagues.
The book also includes original letters and photographs. It was published in 2013 by the Hong Kong-based China International Culture Publishing House.
